A luxury residential design studio in Austin led by principal Susie Marion, offering full-service new construction and remodels with a sophisticated, approachable, and intentional approach for busy executives building in Texas's luxury market.
THE CHALLENGE /
Marion Interior Design's buyer isn't making a quick decision, clients are committing hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars and often follow a designer for months, sometimes years, before ever reaching out. That kind of consideration window meant Marion's content couldn't just showcase beautiful finished rooms; it had to build trust cumulatively, at every stage of a very long journey, without ever tipping into a hard sell too early. The existing content leaned heavily on mid-funnel wins, press, awards, finished spaces — while the earlier "why should I follow this designer at all" moment and the later "why should I actually reach out" moment were both underbuilt.
THE STRATEGY /
We restructured Marion's content around the buyer's journey itself rather than around project or room type, mapping every post to a funnel stage, Design Process & Education to earn new attention, Project Reveals & Recognition to deepen consideration, Client Success & Work With Us to remove hesitation for someone finally ready to inquire. Because the sales cycle is long, we intentionally weighted the mix toward top- and mid-funnel content (roughly 40/40/20) so the account builds authority patiently instead of over-selling too soon, while still giving warmed-up followers a clear next step. Captions were rebuilt to always explain the thinking behind the design, not just the result — the detail that separates Marion from a purely aesthetic feed.
This partnership is just getting started, we're currently rolling out the content funnel and "Motiv Mix" series. Watch the account grow: @marioninteriordesign
